Fournier's Guide Service,
I've hunted with the Fournier's for the past 2 years and can't say enough positive things about booking a bear hunt with these guides.
Everyone I've met at bear camp can attest to their knowledge, devotion, and great spirit...before and after the hunt.
You will not find anyone as hardworking and attentive as the Fournier crew.
The same faces show up year after year for a reason...some of them get a bear...some of them don't, but they All have another great experience which is difficult to put a dollar amount on.
After the smoke settles and the day is done, everyone is friendly and nights can get entertaining with stories galore.
Of course, I'm usually the first to sleep hehehe.
5 hours in a stand coupled with some of Dale's cookin', just about knocks me out!
Seriously, it's a great bunch of guys and gals.
Regardless of your own success, these guys will put you on bear.
This past season, I learned some valuable lessons about sticking it out at the baitsite where they choose.
Jumping around from site to site generally doesn't produce the desired outcomes we're all hoping for.
Scotty is a great example of sticking it out.
Shawn and Kevin know what they're doing and know what is going on at these baitsites at all times, through constant effort and feedback.
Heck, you might shoot a bear at 2:30pm or you might have 7 of them walk into the site like Rod had happen.
Ya just never know...
What I do know, is that if you want to hunt with a great crew, get More than your money's worth, gain some knowledge and possibly take a big bruiser home...
These are the guys to go with.
Thanks again for the opportunity,
Michael Gerrin
P.S.
Thanks to Dale for being the best damn unofficial camp cook in Somerset County.
Thanks to Bud and Randy, their contributions were amazing.
And lastly, thanks to Scotty for letting me raid the camper for coffee:)
